Data Abstraction by Mathematical Impossibility by
Overload
Commander Geordi La Forge lay in bed panting as he recovered from his prior experience just moments ago. Next to him, Data propped himself up on his side, regarding his lover and licking his chops as he gently stroked Geordi's chest. His emotion chip was currently registering a sense of pride. Geordi finally looked over with a worn out smile and chuckled at the android.
"That was..incredible, Data! Where did you learn to do something like that?"
Data cocked his head. "I did not learn anything, Geordi. I was initially programmed in multiple--"
"Yeah I know, multiple techniques. Hundreds of them, if I recall. But that one...man! What race does that position originate from?"
"Human," the android replied simply. Geordi's eyes widened a little in surprise and he looked over at Data.
"HUMAN? But Data, that was..was abstract to say the least! I didn't even know humans were capable of something like what you did!"
Data nodded, in acknowledgement to Geordi's words. "It is possible, but there is a high improbability factor, as most humans are not limber enough to perform such feats of contortionism. And those that are, face risk of injury such as a pulled muscle or dislocated vertabrae."
"Then how were you..?" Geordi sputtered, amazed.
Data shrugged modestly. "Because I am not human. I am an android! And as such, I am programmed to do just about anything!"
Geordi chuckled a little in response, reaching over and pulling Data into an embrace. "You sure are. On both accounts!"
This coaxed a shy smile from the android as he and Geordi snuggled up in each other's arms, and gradually dozed off, sated and happy.
